The scenery here is from Thomson Memorial Park in Scarborough, ON. I'm walking along Gatineau Hudro Corridor, filming the trees that line the river. You'll find people walking their dogs, going for bike rides, jogging. It's a popular spot for many of us Scarberians. There are covered picnic areas with public BBQs, an old totem pole that I'm sure I remember from my childhood, outdoor exercise equipment, and various sites for sports.
As the story goes, this park was named after the first family to settle in Scarborough, Ontario, Canada. David Thomson and Mary Glendenning arrived in the city in 1796.
